21 years ago I married a wonderful Filipina lady. At that time I had just started finding out about Permaculture. Our plan then was to eventually retire to Davao, Philippines, get some land, build a house and get it all set up according to Permaculture and Feng Shui principles. Ever since then we have been working and saving for the time when we can actually do it. I am not an expert on Permaculture but am studying like crazy. I am also not a Feng Shui expert but I am fortunate in having a very good friend, Clif Sanderson, who is.
We have now started building our retirement home. The beach house is almost finished and I have made a start on converting two and a half hectares or so of durian, coconut, rambutan, etc into a permaculture food forest, garden and veggie patches. I am building small boats and making things as needed like a water tank tower, a farm trailer, etc.
As this will involve a few projects I thought it would be a good idea to keep a record of progress and being a web developer, the obvious way to do it for me is to set up a web site that includes some way for others with similar interests to comment, make suggestions, etc.
I have included a discussion forum where I will keep my progress logs of whatever we are doing so please feel welcome to register and post suggestions, ask questions or whatever.
