2c Olive Oil (or other carrier oil)
2Tbsp beeswax
12 whole cloves
4 cayenne peppers or 2 Tbsp ground cayenne

Warm your oil on heat not much higher than a candle flame, and add your cayenne and cloves. Once the oil begins to change colors kill the flame and allow to steep for a couple hours. Strain the oil and reheat. Add the wax until melted and pour into an easy to open wide mouthed jar.

If you adjust the amount of Cayenne and cloves that will increase or decrease the strength of the ointment. If you have sensitive skin like me, reduce the cayenne by half. Cloves are an antistetic and cayenne has capacacin which is also antistetic but it also increase blood flow to the area helping increase joint viscosity. I use this for muscle and joint pain or for decreased blood flow injuries.
