22 years ago I married a wonderful Filipina lady. At that time I had just started finding out about Permaculture. Our plan then was to eventually retire to Davao, Philippines, get some land, build a house and get it all set up according to Permaculture and Feng Shui principles. Ever since then we have been working and saving for the time when we can actually do it. I am not an expert on Permaculture but am studying like crazy. I am also not a Feng Shui expert but I am fortunate in having a very good friend, Clif Sanderson, who is.
The house is built for our retirement home but needs major repairs, rebuilding and finishing that will take a few months.
I have made a start on converting two and a half hectares of land mostly already planted with durian, coconut, rambutan, etc into an organic, permaculture food forest, garden and veggie patches.
I included a discussion forum to keep my progress logs of whatever we are doing. This was intended to discuss things with visitors who have similar interests but due to spamming I have been forced to turn off registration.
